I have installed the current 3.2.0-999 1st december and it was the same but I could see the plymouth image on boot and moreover I could see two error messages : lightdm fail and graphic fallback fail.
So I have decided to deal with nouveau instead of nvidia drivers and guess what it is now booting with kernel 3.2.0-2 So the problem is with nvidia drivers. I don't know where to report or if it is too early to report problems with proprietary drivers. So I let you decide if we should tag it as "fix released" or not. thanks -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/897102 Title: precise can't boot with linux 3.2.0.1.1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/897102/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
