I'm afraid your suggestion has no effect. I tried to use Ubuntu One on 10 different brand-new installations of Ubuntu 11.10 Desktop x64 in my company. On every computer I tried to set-up a new account: captcha is not working on every single case. It simply keeps loading not showing any characters. I also tried to login with my existing account: I can confirm that in every single case the same error (Ther was a problem while retrieving the credentials) is shown. Please, note that I'm able to login with the same credentials on the Ubuntu One website.
In my opinion we have 2 big problems here: the first is related to this post, the second is a general usability matter. 1) SSO issues preventing correct captcha visualization during account creation and login for existing accounts; 2) Missing http/https proxy support preventing Ubuntu one to be used in most company networks.
