Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-panel
I have two desktops set up, but the panels (top and bottom) only appear on the first desktop. Also, any applications running in one desktop get minimised when you switch to the other desktop. This a real pain when you don't have the panel to bring it to a normal state again. This used to work fine in v6, and when I first installed 7.04, but one of the recent updates seems to have broken something ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Sat May 19 15:57:16 2007 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 7.04 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/gnome-panel Package: gnome-panel 1:2.18.1-0ubuntu3.1 PackageArchitecture: i386 ProcCmdline: gnome-panel --sm-config-prefix /gnome-panel-ivwiTs/ --sm-client-id 117f000101000117897069100000053980000 --screen 0 ProcCwd: /home/john ProcEnviron: PATH=/home/john/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games LANG=en_GB.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: gnome-panel Uname: Linux john-laptop 2.6.20-15-generic #2 SMP Sun Apr 15 07:36:31 UTC 2007 i686 GNU/Linux ** Affects: gnome-panel (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- Switching desktops doesn't show panels https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/115623 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
