Hi Ilias, >From the log it seems like skype is using the "output monitor" as the input source, instead of using the mic input. I'm a little unsure what causes this though. Could you please try the following in a terminal:
echo autospawn = no >> ~/.pulse/client.conf pulseaudio -k mv ~/.pulse ~/.oldpulse This will remove any saved pulse settings. Restart pulseaudio by clicking speaker icon, then "sound settings". Now retry skype call.
