Font corruption does only affect some fonts - not all. I've never experienced the corruption when using Chromium, when observing the same webpage scrambled in Firefox.
I've never experienced this font corruption on pre-Natty releases (I skipped Maverick). The first time I suffered from corrupted fonts was on Natty using Unity 3D. I'm wondering if this corruption can be related to the Ubuntu font? Or an interplay of Ubuntu font and Unity 3D? I'm using Oneiric with all updates installed as of today on IBM Thinkpad X41 with the following output of 'lspci': 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 915GM/GMS/910GML Express Graphics Controller (rev 03) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/745608 Title: [915GM] font corruption on Intel GMA900 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-intel/+bug/745608/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
