Thanks, I uploaded the updated command-not-found to oneiric-proposed now. The problem was that the mirror on the machine that extracts the data was outdated.
** Changed in: command-not-found (Ubuntu Oneiric) Status: Triaged => In Progress ** Description changed: On oneiric, if I type hugday (and the ubuntu-qa-tools package is not installed), I get "The program 'hugday' is currently not installed. You can install it by typing: sudo apt-get install ubuntu-qa-tools ", but executing the command gives me an error about " Unable to locate package ubuntu-qa-tools". + + TEST CASE: + 1. use oneiric + 2. type hugday + 3. verify that command-not-found kicks in and suggests to install ubuntu-qa-tools + 4. install command-not-found from oneiric-proposed + 5. type hugday again + 6. verify that it does not suggest anything this time (just outputs "command not found") + 7. verify that a random binary like "gob2" still give a recommendation -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/882276 Title: command-not-found includes packages removed from 11.10 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/command-not-found/+bug/882276/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
