Public bug reported:

Everytime when waking up from hibernation one loud beep can be heard.
That is very annoing when you are in a silent environment.

For older versions from ubuntu this can be avoided by:
1. System > Prefs > Power Mgt > General Tab.
Deselect the "Beep on Error" checkbox.

2. System > Prefs > Sound > Sound Tab.
Set "Error Message" and "Warning Message" to No Sound.
Under the "System Beep" tab, deselect the checkbox.

But for ubuntu 11.10 these settings are no longer available. At least not with
the unity desktop.
