Same problem here, Firefox 3.6.24, Ubuntu 10.04 Have the problems for a while, for sure they where there 3.6.23 Now and then, cannot trigger exactly when, have to kill the firefox bin in the system monitor to let firefox start up again.
and pc will not turn off without a forced shutdown.
