I am having a similar issue in Feisty. It didn't happen in Edgy, but it does in Feisty.
In my case, I'm running OpenVPN as a server on my home desktop computer. It's got two connections open -- a UDP port and a TCP port. It's using tun0 and tun1. When I boot the computer, it runs fine and I can connect. But if I "suspend" the computer, and then restart the computer, OpenVPN no longer works. OpenVPN accepts incoming connections, but no data can be transferred. I've discovered that the "ifconfig" command lists only eth0 and lo, but the tun0 and tun1 are missing. If I do "sudo /etc/init.d/openvpn restart" then tun0 and tun1 reappear and everything works fine then. In Edgy, I didn't have this problem. I could suspend and restart, and OpenVPN worked just fine. -- openvpn doesn't reconnect after suspend/resume https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/110166 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
