When I speak of the console, I don't mean the xterm or konsole or gnome-terminal X application, neither about the recovery mode, but the tty terminal consoles avaible through ctrl+alt+F# keys.
Try hitting ctrl+alt+F1, it will send you to a console, where I never seen the keyboard bug. ctrl+alt+F7 will bring you back to your X sessionnnnnnnnn. There is 6 terminals (F1 to F6 + ctrl+alt) and 1 X session (F7). random guy wrote: > mine doesnt happen as often as yours apparently does, i get it once > maybe every 5 min. it does happen for me in the console (konsole to be > exact) too by the way but that is when i use the console with xorg still > running. have not tried booting in recovery mode to see if the issue > exists there either. > > Section "InputDevice" > Identifier "Generic Keyboard" > Driver "kbd" > Option "CoreKeyboard" > Option "XkbRules" "xorg" > Option "XkbModel" "pc105" > Option "XkbLayout" "us" > Option "XkbOptions" "lv3:ralt_switch" > EndSection > > my xorg seems to be identical to yours (other than that i use a us > layout) > > thanks for giving me the link to that other bug, it might prove usful. > thanks. > > -- repeate rate problem, sometimes repeats character many times while typing. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/92594 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
