Public bug reported:

The Put Left and Put Right commands (Ctrl-Alt-KP4, Ctrl-Alt-KP5) used to
move the window to the side, and with consecutive keypresses toogle
between different grid sizes. This behavior has stopped since the latest
update, and now the window only snaps to half the screen.

All the other side commands (Put Top Left, Put Bottom Right, etc...)
worked as before, toggling between 3 different grid sizes.

The fix for bug #862260 was supposed to correct this behavior, but it
doesn't. This looks like a regression bug.

Bug #876591 shows a related issue, but the patch provided does not fix
the Put Left and Put Right problem.
