@Jason: Well, if you do not wish to help, that leaves me with no choice but to remove the mount helper. I think it's a pity, for those people for whom device detection in calibre will stop working out of the box. But, I tried, to the best of my ability. I had hoped that we could work together to make it a possibility, but, apparently not.
Closing bug as fix released (currently I only have the energy to add an exit() at the start of main, the full removal will have to wait for a good nights sleep). status fixreleased ** Changed in: calibre Status: Confirmed => Fix Released -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/885027 Title: SUID Mount Helper has 5 Major Vulnerabilities To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/calibre/+bug/885027/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
