I have tried the restart with and without the SD card plugged in, it still doesn't see it in either case. this version of Ubuntu is getting worse, the Launcher doesn't indicate open files or programs unless they are new and the screen switching locks up preventing a full-screen browser or other program from being closed. I am seriously thinking of going back to Ubuntu 11.04 until it is sorted out. John
