Kuropka: it's difficult because the Windows and Mac clients assume you're connecting to a Windows server. The Linux client, based on PPP, lets you connect to anything, with any options. If it defaulted to Windows-friendly defaults, which my new version of the package does, it would go a long way. I am not sure why that host route is created, so will raise a bug upstream with the author.
