I noticed https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/114634 and I really don't want to have work duplicated (and I realise now I should have pushed harder on getting this into Debian sooner), but I have already packaged this, and as I said at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/114634/comments/1 , "I've just got to fix a few issues about unsourced PDFs with upstream, and it will then be uploaded."
The current source package is available at: deb-src http://archive.ubuntustudio.org/ubuntustudio/ feisty main And I maintain the debian/ sources at https://code.launchpad.net/~ubuntustudio-dev/ubuntustudio/wired I'll be packaging up the "dfsg" version soon, if I can't get a release from upstream with the PDFs sourced, which include: ./wired-0.4/src/portaudio/docs/portaudio_icmc2001.pdf ./wired-0.4/src/portaudio/src/hostapi/asio/Callback_adaptation_.pdf ./wired-0.4/src/portaudio/src/hostapi/asio/Pa_ASIO.pdf I've built this package so as not to require the portaudio in tree, so perhaps I can work on having that entire directory removed.
