I have two virtual machines set up under MS VPC 2007; one is Ubunu 7.04 and the other is Uguntu 6.10. The mouse works under 6.10 and does not under 7.04. It makes sense this has to do with the PS2 mouse as that is the one MS VPC emulates. I only keep the 7.04 version around waiting for the Ubuntu team to fix it.
I think this is the issue with Open Software. Bug fixes are a long time in coming.
