I did that, but update-initramfs -u gave an error, complaining about /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/pango/1.6.0/modules/pango-basic-fc.so. So I did dpkg -S on that file and libpango1.0-0 contains that file. I reinstalled libpango1.0-0, did update-initramfs -u and restarted: the problem is solved. Thanks for your help!
