It seems clear to me that the libutouch-geis1_2.2.1-0ubuntu1 does not work with xserver 1.11 series. This is because xserver 1.11 does not have utouch support yet and libutouch-geis1_2.2.1-0ubuntu1 cannot handle that. This is why evince segfaults.
