Experiencing same issue with an iPhone4 (iOS 5.0). Issue was not present in 11.04 with iOS 5. (Ubuntu version I was using when I upgraded iOS)
Running Oneiric. 3.0.0-12-generic-pae #20-Ubuntu SMP i686 i686 i386 UPower client version 0.9.13. I am new to this so not sure how to get versions of the lib files but would like to help however I can.
