Public bug reported:

The application does not seem to provide a list of all applications in a
category e.g. Internet or Multimedia.
Searching by category does not show the user all the available apps already
installed.
the categories are hidden (too many clicks needed to get to it)

I expect a menu like the traditional "Application" menu to be readily
available without searching and to show all available apps.

Like this, A user without the knowledge of names can not find an
application without knowing its name. How do you expect new Linux/Ubuntu
Users to know the name from the beginning?

ubuntu 11.10
4.22.0-0ubuntu3

** Affects: unity (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
