If you want you can test the latest upstream kernel, 2.6.27 is too old.
click on the following links:

1- http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.1-rc10-oneiric
/linux-headers-3.1.0-030100rc10_3.1.0-030100rc10.201110200610_all.deb

2- http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.1-rc10-oneiric
/linux-
headers-3.1.0-030100rc10-generic_3.1.0-030100rc10.201110200610_amd64.deb

3- http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.1-rc10-oneiric
/linux-
image-3.1.0-030100rc10-generic_3.1.0-030100rc10.201110200610_amd64.deb

and install the three packages then refere if it is fixed or not.
