Public bug reported: UbuntuOne Sync Daemon consumed 100% of available RAM (6.9 GB of 8.0 GB) As a result the machine went into SWAPPING thrash. Clicking 'Restart' in the UbuntuOneControlPanel had no effect.
Unfortunately, the Swap memory went up to 45% before I was able to open LaunchPad, so the attached information reflects the state of the machine after system reboot ~ rather than at the time of the incident. However, I have attached some screen-shots I WAS able to capture before the machine tanked.
