I can confirm something similar happening to me. Sometimes, after startup icons are fine for something like 20 seconds and after that they turn into non-decorated ones using some horrible theme. Nautilus is the only application suffering from this as you can see from screenshot attached - unity panel is not affected.
Strange is that this does not happen everytime but simply randomly. I have similar log records as listed in #7 and using post-release Nvidia driver.
