Hello Till. Over a month ago I reported to Brother that their print driver appeared to be faulty. They insisted it was fine. Now since your responses, they advise to change the driver to another Brother model mfcj615 which works perfectly. I had tried another model earlier but it wasn't compatible. Funny when you back these guys into a corner what happens eh? Thanks for your help and persistence. Alistair.
