Public bug reported:

Hi. I have a USB Wifi adapter (P-0BDA V-8176), which should work with
the kernel module rtl8192cu, and indeed, associates itself with this
module in lsmod upon plugging into my PC. However, the module itself is
not functioning correctly; when attached, the USB Wifi adapter will not
scan for any AP's whatsoever, whether through the network manager plasma
applet, or from a command line using iwlist wlan1 scanning

The module would be a benefit in a working condition, as previously I've
been running the adapter using ndiswrapper and the windows drivers from
the CD which came with it, and to have operational native support would
be a major plus.
