Public bug reported: I'm using the de_AT locale. In normal nautilus windows, the home folder is correctly localized to "Persönlicher Ordner" in the sidebar (as are others, like Desktop or file system). However, on the desktop, the folder is labeled "home" (with small h!), and the computer is labeled "Computer" instead of the localized "Rechner".
FWIW, I chose not to update standard folder names from English to German. I.e., "Documents" is still called "Documents", "Pictures" is "Pictures", etc. Still, the sidebar shows properly localized names for standard locations such as home, computer, or the desktop, while the desktop doesn't.
