Public bug reported: I am seeing this bug in both Xubuntu 11.04 and 11.10 64-bit. When you open a new tab in xfce4-terminal, it expands the window by that tab's height vertically. This causes a problem most seriously when the Terminal window is maximized, because opening a new tab then causes the window to go off-screen (under the xfce panel, if one is on the bottom of the screen).
This seems to be a related (but slightly different) complaint by someone else: http://us.generation-nt.com/answer/bug-574493-xfce4-terminal- exceeds-screen-height-help-196538381.html ** Affects: xfce4-terminal (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/877034 Title: Opening new tabs causes window size to exceed screen size To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xfce4-terminal/+bug/877034/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
