I have an ATI Radeon Mobility X1400 and additional drivers or propietary are not available for me. I ran the command 'lshw -c video' to know my driver and in configuration says: "driver=radeon"
I can't watch flash videos (i.e. YouTube) in fullscreen because they are choppy and the sound is garbled. I had solved this problem in Ubuntu 11.04 activating "hardware acceleration" on the flash configuration and changing my video settings with the gstreamer-properties app. But now no matter what I choose, I can't solve it. I also have deactivated sync_to_vblank on Compiz (using ccsm) and changed other settings I've found on the Internet, but nothing improves. FlashVideoReplacer is a good workaround, but I want to use the all the flash features in their fullest. There's even a comic about this problem: http://xkcd.com/619 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/876103 Title: Really slow and choppy fullscreen Flash videos in Ubuntu 11.10 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/flashplugin-nonfree/+bug/876103/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
