I have Software Sources set to Display Immediately when new updates are available (see attached screenshot for Software Sources settings). When new updates become available I have to click "Install Updates" for installation to begin. In previous versions of Ubuntu, I have always, once I click Install Updates, had to input my password before installation would begin. But with 11.10, installation just begins with no password prompt. Is this a regression?
