Maybe, but it's strange not to be able to have any role in the way your computer acts. I'm trying not to compare, but that is impossible and not productive as we should get the good things from anywhere; for instance in Windows I can set up what I have in Start Menu, what I don't have there, if it is to be a small list or something else, etc. Even the small phones OS allows the user to have either list or grid (icons) view of the menu.
I don't believe in a OS where people cannot do some basic things around. For instance one of the first things I do about Unity is to make icons smaller. On the default size there can only 5-6 icons fit there and that is the opposite of normal&functional desktop. How could one do that without ccsm or another tool? The times where user should edit a config file for everything are gone for ages. we're living 2011 and soon 2012 :) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/875420 Title: Compiz windows previews sometimes do not dissapear To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+bug/875420/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
