Public bug reported: Trying to install Ubuntu 11.10 on my computer this evening and found that after choosing the language, enabling download updates and third- party software, the installer basically slows to a stop during this. No apparent activity or anything. It just stops.
Skimming the debug log gives me no info at all, and deselecting the download updates and third-party software changes nothing. It seems to be hanging on probing the drives. If needed I can provide both lspci, fdisk -l and other info you might deem relevant. ** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/873675 Title: Ubiquity extremely slow during install To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/873675/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
