I've tried to reset unity for this account using
unity --reset
unity --reset-icons
but that didn't help.
When I create a new user account the icons are shown properly. Also many
of the folder icons are broken as well, for example the home folder and
also for a folder on my desktop, it's being shown as if it is a file.
But the most annoying thing is that I'm missing the shutdown button.
