Public bug reported: Reproduce: - start "awesome" (window manager) - open gnome-terminal - hold down "windows"-key - drag the terminal window with left mouse button
What I expect: - Window should move around and size should stay the same What I actually see: - Window becomes smaller and smaller Workaround - resize the window before you drag it around (Win+RMB-Drag) - resize the window to a size that is odd to the height of a character - when there is a bit space in the bottom of the window (clientheight is not a multiple of the height of one line), moving will work correctly ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.10 Package: gnome-terminal 3.0.1-0ubuntu3 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.0.0-12.20-generic 3.0.4 Uname: Linux 3.0.0-12-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 1.23-0ubuntu3 Architecture: amd64 Date: Wed Oct 12 16:12:27 2011 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 11.10 "Oneiric Ocelot" - Alpha amd64 (20110827) ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, user) LANG=de_DE.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: gnome-terminal UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: gnome-terminal (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug oneiric -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/872876 Title: terminal window resizes when moving around window in awesome window manager To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-terminal/+bug/872876/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
