I've solved my problem. The problem I had was that hibrenation never resume, and finally discover that what was missing was an "resume" entry in grub2 configuration. I think it has something to do with partition numbers, which in my case have changed, and grub didn't include the swap partition as a resume parameter in the kernel option.
http://wiki.debian.org/Grub#Configuring_grub_v2 By default grub2 in debian will not add 'resume=/dev/swap-partition' option Hope it helps someone... -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/748994 Title: suspend hibernation not working on dell 1749 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/748994/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
