Public bug reported: The brightness slider on an iMac5,1 doesn't work correctly, that is, when moved it flickers through higher and lower brightness levels, some of then even turning the screen off while the slider is on the higher values.
Also, when the screen sleeps the brightness goes off and the screen doesn't turn on again when I move the mouse, even though the system still works (is accessible via VNC).
