***POSSIBLE SOLUTION*** I had the same problem. When I hibernated it seemed to just log out of X and re-login. I also got the not enough swap space (I have 1GB of ram and just 512MB swap).
Then I installed "hibernate" package. Now hibernation works flawlessly by typing "sudo hibernate". Actually I have to use --force option. As for now I haven't investigated why but the important thing is that it works! Hopefully suspend to ram works too, but I haven't tried it yet. I hope this is helpful. -- Proposals for "Swap Partition too small for Hibernation to work" scenario https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/21413 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
