Play/Pause and skip back/skip forward buttons are being detected - cancel
icon is popping up when I press them, but they have no effect on banshee or
clementine.
Expected result: Pressing the play/pause button will pause media. Pressing
the skip back/skip forward buttons will skip back and forwards.
Given result: Pressing the play/pause button causes a cancel icon to appear,
but has no effect on media playback. Pressing the skip back/skip forward
buttons causes a cancel icon to appear, but has no effect on media playback
Volume keys working as expected.
Edit: With Banshee open, media keys work for both Banshee and
Clementine. When Banshee is closed, Clementine does not respond to
media keys. Media keys work fine with media player.

+ UPDATE: Fixed. The issue turned out to be due to the fact that gnome-
+ keybinding-properties was not installed. I did a quick work-around by
+ unchecking the box telling Clementine to use the Gnome shortcut keys.
