Hi Harald, I can NOT reproduce this incident, NOR have I seen any crashes of this (previously frequent) bug anymore recently.
I am noticing very rare (2 per 4 months) FATAL - IO errors from kscreenlocker in xsession-errors* but they seem to be generated outside the kscreenlocker (in xserver/ nvidia driver) as nearly every other application running in the xwindow session is producing the same error at that time. The Xwindow session is then also terminated and reset.
