I maked a patch for Oneiric alsa-utils package, with turns on following playback switches: Front Playback Switch, Surround Playback Switch, Center Playback Switch, LFE Playback Switch, Side Playback Switch, Headphone Playback Switch
Please review this patch. I tested the patched alsa-utils package with my custom Oneiric live CD, and I hear sound by default after the live CD booted.
