I experienced the same problem a few weeks before. With every reboot my soundcards (2xpci) changed position randomly.
As proposed also in Bug #8107, I edited /etc/modutils/alsa-base and changed my second soundcard to options snd-<your driver> index=-2 # Make sure it isn't the first card.
