Today this happend to me too. Here Ubuntu 11.04. I figured out, that /etc/cups/printers.conf was empty, but there was a copy located at
/etc/cups/printers.conf.0 So I just did as root: cp /etc/cups/printers.conf.0 /etc/cups/printers.conf restart cups And everything was fine again. sandoz -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/584188 Title: cups lost all printers after reboot To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cups/+bug/584188/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
