Ubuntu no longer issues RC images; beta2 now serves the same function as
the previous RC, but with a name which more accurately describes its
contents. There should be no changes between now and the oneiric
release that would break your system, just as there shouldn't be between
the RC and final release. But of course this is never certain, so I
understand if you prefer to wait.

It's not loaded the same way, but it definitely is loaded. So that
would be an interesting data point.
