Omer Akram and David Barth: I submitted the duplicate bug. I can confirm that no special steps are required to get the behavior shown in my screenshot, or in nevergone's screenshot.
Nevergone's screenshot shows that the bug isn't related to the stacked monitor configuration that I was using. A similarity between our configurations, though, is that the both of our display-configurations feature monitors of mismatched sizes. The steps as I used are: 1. Plug in external monitor to laptop 2. Go to Display-control app, and arrange the monitors to match my physical setup. 3. Press the workspace picker button. 4. Look at artifacts. Take screenshot. I'll be happy to perform any additional troubleshooting steps, or test partial fixes. I'm programming-literate, and an experienced Linux/Unix user. This one is fairly easy to reproduce, though, so I'd guess that any Unity/Compiz developer with mismatched monitors should be able to see it. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/839548 Title: Dual monitor Unity workspace switcher bug To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity/+bug/839548/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
