** Description changed:

When drag&dropping an icon from dash to launcher, if the same
application is already in the launcher the drag&drop is cancelled
  without any user feedback.

  .xsession-errors says :
WARN 2011-09-16 08:38:06 glib <unknown>:0 Attempted to register a quicklist
that was previously registered

Couldn’t we give a feedback, maybe shake the existing icon like when
opening a file in an already running app ?

+ -----------------------------------------
+
+ Desired Resolution:
+
+ When a user drags and drops a application icon from the Dash to the Launcher
that is already in the Launcher:
+ - The application that is already in the Launcher should move to the location
where the application icon from the dash was dropped.
+ - The application should become pinned to the Launcher ("Keep in launcher"
becomes checked). (if it is not already pinned to the Launcher)
