To upgrade to kernel from Maverick, go to Konsole, and do: wget http://ubuntu.linux-bg.org/ubuntu//pool/main/l/linux/linux-image-2.6.35-30-generic_2.6.35-30.54_i386.deb sudo dpkg -i linux-image-2.6.35-30-generic_2.6.35-30.54_i386.deb
Then reboot and choose the older kernel. You can also upgrade to a kernel from oneiric. You will have to find it in packages.ubuntu.com, download it, install it and then download and install the missing dependencies also from oneiric. I have tried it, it works, but I found it simpler to use the older kernel just when I want to watch movies through my tv screen. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/763688 Title: [915GM] S-video output doesn't work in Natty (i386) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/linux/+bug/763688/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
