Public bug reported: This has been discussed on both the French and English forums and no solution has been provided.
When using Ubuntu 11.04 64 bits and download or uploading important files (such as during the install process) my D-Link WBR-1310 router crashes completely and all my computers/iPod lose their connection. I have to reset the router everytime. I've used Windows for years and never had any problem. This problem occurs since switching to Ubuntu. I've even went back on Windows to check if the problem was the router and it never crashed. Even while I'm writing this message, I have nothing transferring and it crashed. I've tried both DHCP, DHCP with DNS servers in the connection information and manual connection and the problem remains. This is a major problem for me as I work in the Web and will not buy a new router to accomodate Ubuntu. Thank you. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/854938 Title: Router WBR-1310 Crashes To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/854938/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
