Public bug reported: For the past 2 weeks, the Ubuntu 11.10 beta has not awoken from suspend correctly on a Thinkpad T61 (nvidia). On wake from suspend, the screen background has static multicolored "noise" pixels and opaque white blocks stairstepped across it. The menu bar and launcher display correctly. But dialog boxes drawn over the main desktop have the noise (or are partially obscured if behind the white blocks).
This didn't occur when I was using the alpha release. ii nvidia-common 1:0.2.35 Find obsolete NVIDIA drivers ii nvidia-current 280.13-0ubuntu3 NVIDIA binary Xorg driver, kernel module and VDPAU library ii nvidia-settings 280.13-0ubuntu2 Tool of configuring the NVIDIA graphics driver ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: nvidia suspend -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/854347 Title: nvidia awake after suspend leaves blocks/noise on screen To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/854347/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
