I'm linking it in rcS.d instead what you are doing in rc0.d

Sxx means start during boot, kxx means kill during shutdown. When
putting the script in rsS.d it is always run during startup and this
means that the stop_on_shutdown parameter is always set. Doesn't matter
if you shutdown, reboot, suspend or hibernate.
