The Fixed Speed> submenu only appears if you have more than 3
frequencies available. I understand it unlocked the largest frequency,
but why would you want the largest frequency when the Performance
governor had always been buit in Ubuntu (and other systems) ?
Performance is simply better than your max frequency...

Simply meant, why not click on "Performance" instead of Fixed Speed>
1.4Ghz (well your max freq.) ?

If the largest frequency has been added to the menu, why not the
smallest one too (like the 2nd comment
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/emifreq-
applet/+bug/1883/comments/2 said) ? It is not very consistent.

I don't understand the usecase. On my computer, I use "Performance", or
"Powersaving", and sometimes 1Ghz (to have it in-between).
