Twitux doesn't look to have been updated since 2009. It's likely, as the
original bug reporter said, that Twitux does not support OAUTH which
means that Twitux is now useless as a Twitter client unfortunately,
which is a shame.  According to
https://dev.twitter.com/docs/auth/oauth/faq Twitter stopped allowing
Twitter clients to use basic password authentication in 2010.  I think
Twitux only used basic password authentication.

I used to like Twitux because of its minimal interface, but had to find
an alternative.
